• The Manzanita Ranch has hosted more than 350 guest to participate in the "One Good Day" project since 2013.
  • In 2017, we have added a very successful program "Ride Of A Lifetime"
  • We have completed many facility improvements that include a tack room and fencing for a large turnout for the horses.
  • In 2014, the ranch brought The Moving Wall to Temecula where thousands of visitors were able to pay tribute to the fallen
  • Our veterans, clients, and horses have represented the Ranch in multiple parades including Murrieta Veterans Day Parade, Idyllwild 4th of July Parade and events including the Ramona Play and Tournament of Roses Parade
  • Volunteers spent many hours to improve the facilities, including a simulation trail for first time riders.

The Manzanita Ranch in Anza, California has a local access point to the Pacific Crest Trail between the Anza Borrego Desert and Idylwild. Riders enjoy the magnificent views from the vistas along the Manzanita and Red Shank tree lined trails. We offer rides to all levels of experience. Each day begins with basic horsemanship and an understanding of each riders training needs. There are times when the Trail Boss will decide to stay on dirt roads and flat lands if he feels the riders are not ready for the trail.

Our horses are all gentle and well trained with many hours of trail experience. This is a full day with the horses and intended to be a horse and rider experience that happens to include one of the most spectacular trail rides west of the Appalachian Trail.

The Manzanita Ranch does not charge the veterans for our services, and never will. We rely on the support of grants and private donations to do good in our community. If you believe we should continue to help our brave heroes, please consider making a donation. You can help our nation’s veterans heal!
